Great Christmas decorations for your favorite team

As we prepare our Christmas tree, I’m reminded of all the fun trips we’ve made to watch teams play. We always root for the home team and love trying to experience the city as a local. Wherever we go, we grab a magnet and a Christmas tree ornament to help remember our adventures.

Christmas Tree Ornaments

There plenty of fun Christmas tree ornaments and decorations from each of the professional sports leagues – NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL.  Here are some suggestions to help you decorate your home and get in the holiday spirit.

Christmas Day Games

There will be some great games this year on Christmas, which falls on a Thursday. The NBA has games between:

• Washington Wizards at New York Knicks - 12n Eastern on ESPN
• San Antonio Spurs vs Oklahoma Thunder - 2:30pm Eastern on ABC
• Cleveland Cavaliers vs Miami Heat - 5pm Eastern on ABC
• Los Angeles Lakers vs Chicago Bulls - 8pm Eastern on TNT
• Los Angeles Clippers vs Golden State Warriors - 10:30pm Eastern on ABC

As you can see, the NBA will dominates the TV on Christmas Day. The NFL normally has games on Thursdays, but have pushed the Christmas day game to Sunday to allow the teams to be with their families and prepare for the playoffs that begin in January.
