The 2014-2015 NBA season starts tonight. Will you be watching the start of a new basketball season, or the end of baseball’s World Series? Depending on when I get off work, I may head to Staples Center to catch the Lakers vs Rockets.
What NBA Games are on tonight?
The New Orleans Pelicans are hosting the Orlando Magic. The San Antonio Spurs are hosting the Dallas Mavericks to decide bragging rights in Texas. And, the Los Angeles Lakers are hosting the Houston Rockets in a game of what could have been… Kobe’s on the verge of retiring, and Dwight Howard could have been the heir of Lakerland had he not bolted for Houston in free agency a year ago.

The new 2014-2015 New NBA Swingman Jerseys have been released. I think they’re pretty cool. Lebron James’ jersey has to be a huge seller with his return to the Cleveland Cavaliers and the expectations of a Championship with the addition of Kevin Love to go along with Kyrie Irving.
However, Kobe is returning after playing only 6 games last year. The Los Angeles Lakers might be filled with young players and end-of-career veterans (including Steve Nash's contract with his career essentially over)... but Kobe will always be shooting for a Championship, even if you, me, and a couple of our friends were on his team!
