My Mom battled breast cancer a few years ago, so breast cancer awareness month holds a special place in my heart. My Mom is doing well now, and there are no signs of the cancer in her periodic tests, but some other women are not so lucky. We must support the fight to find a cure so that other husbands, fathers, brothers, and sons don’t lose that special woman in their life.
The NFL’s Breast Cancer Awareness Efforts
Each year, the NFL wears special uniforms to help raise awareness of breast cancer. Professional players always thank their Mom for everything they do, so this is a small token.
