Round 1 of MLB Playoffs

The Major League Baseball regular season is over, and 10 teams started the playoffs in contention for the World Series.  On Tuesday, the Oakland Athletics traveled to Kansas City to battle the Royals for the one American League Wild Card spot. Tonight (Wednesday), the San Francisco Giants will play at the Pittsburgh Pirates.

The Royals won a thriller in 12 innings… talk about earning your playoff spot!

The American League Division Series

The Detroit Tigers are in Baltimore to play the Orioles on 5:30pm Eastern on Thursday, October 2 for Game 1.  The Los Angeles Angels are hosting the Kansas City Royals later that night at 9:00pm Eastern. If necessary, games will continue until Game 5 on Wednesday, October 8.

The National League Division Series

We're still waiting to see who the Washington Nationals will host for Game 1 on Friday, October 3.  The Los Angeles Dodgers are hosting the St Louis Cardinals at 6:30pm  the same day. If necessary, games will continue until Game 5 on Thursday, October 9.
